BSU
Fault Code Reading, Module Re-Programming and ABS Brake Bleeding
All require the vehicle ignition to be switched on for extended periods of time which can rapidly discharge the battery causing work to stop, loss of data or worse damage to sensitive electronic components.
When connected, the BSU provides a constant voltage to prevent loss of battery charge, and ensuring that the battery is not discharged at the end of the job.
The constant voltage provided also prevents loss of data and possible damage to control units during software up dates, module reprogramming as well as fault code reading.
The function of the BSU can be monitored by the three led’s, showing that it is switched on, connected to the battery correctly and power is flowing. The powerful continuous output is enough to maintain the charge of a healthy battery during any diagnostic or programming operation.
BSU1 provides a stable voltage and up to 25amps of fully regulated power to prevent loss of charge and damage to the battery. Ideal for general vehicles with average consumption.
BSU2 provides up tp 50amps of power, ideal for high power consuming vehicles such as Land Rover and Jaguar.
The new BSU3 provides an all-in-one solution, providing a selectable output voltage of 12.7v, 13.8v and 14.8v, which provides up to a massive 70amps power. This unit gives the flexibility to cover all vehicles with varying voltage and current requirements, up to and including high spec vehicles with large demands.
BSU 1 is the approved tool supplied to FORD, MAZDA and VOLVO
BSU2 is the approved tool supplied to JAGUAR and LANDROVER
BSU3 is recommended for high spec vehicles, such as BMW, Range Rover, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, Porsche etc.
